How do I obtain a Marriage license?

If both Bride and Groom are from out of State:
$30 Fee
You must both apply in person and have a picture ID social security form must be completed, If married previously, you must have certified documents from the court with a raised seal on a divorce decree or death certificate.
No waiting period.
Intention of Marriage form must be completed. Download application
Certified copies of marriage license can be purchased at the Town offices in the Dunaway Center at 23 School Street. $10 for the first copy, $5 for each additional copy.
If you are a Maine resident you must apply in your home town.
Can I get married on the beach?
Yes. Cannot be any structures.
