Celebrate autumn in Ogunquit at the 22nd annual OgunquitFest, one of Maine’s most beloved fall festivals! Each year, visitors return to our spectacular oceanside community to experience a weekend full of family-friendly fun, live entertainment, and seasonal traditions. OgunquitFest features signature events including children’s trick-or-treating downtown and in Perkins Cove, a classic car show at Main Beach, the popular Dogtoberfest costume parade, and the High Heel Dash benefiting the Frannie Peabody Center. Guests can also enjoy a huge artisan craft fair with 50+ vendors, food trucks, and live music at the Dunaway Center and Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common. Whether you’re here for the cars, the crafts, the costumes, or simply the charm of Ogunquit in the fall, OgunquitFest is the perfect way to celebrate the season by the sea.

Join us in the heart of beautiful Ogunquit for our OgunquitFest Artisan Craft Fair this October 25-26, 2025!
The event generally showcases 50+ vendors most local to New England. Craft fairs typically include a wide variety of jewelry, handmade candles, local treats, custom soaps, foods, and much much more!
The fair is open to the general public from 9am-4pm on Saturday and 10am-2pm, Sunday, and is free to attend! Craft fair booths will be located in 2 locations in Ogunquit; Outdoor location being in Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common (47 Cottage Street, Ogunquit) and our indoor location at the Dunaway Center (23 School Street, Ogunquit). Find your favorite local vendors or that perfect gift for someone close to you.

Come join us alongside the ocean in the Main Beach parking lot for the 17th annual Ogunquit Classic Car Show on Saturday, October 25, 2025!
The event generally showcases more than 100 cars from across a plethora of decades. Registration for vehicle owners is from 8-10am, and the cost is $20.
The show is open to the general public from 10am-1pm, and is free! Free parking for spectators available in the main beach parking lot. Vote for your favorite car, with the top ten winners honored at 12:45pm. Enjoy live music and the great camaraderie of your fellow car enthusiasts!

Be sure to bring the kiddos to downtown Ogunquit on Friday October 24th for a trick or treating extravaganza!
Participating businesses will be handing out treats for all the little goblins and ghosts.

Looking for more trick or treat fun? Join Ogunquit Parks and Rec for trick or treating down in Perkins Cove on Saturday from 10am-12pm, right after the costume contest!

Parade begins Saturday 10/25 at 11:00am at the entrance to Main Beach.
Costumed dogs will be registered and photographed at the start of the dog walk. Photos will be posted on the Ogunquit Dog Park Facebook Page. Judging is at noon! (Rain date, October 26.)
Followed by playtime in the dog park Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Watch the hijinks as brave souls race around Perkins Cove in high heels! Better yet, join in the race! Heels must be at least 2" high. Prizes awarded for Best Time, Highest Heel and Most Outrageous Costume!
Proceeds from registration will go to the Frannie Peabody Center peabodycenter.org
Registration begins at 2:30pm.

Join us for a weekend of spooky fun by the sea during Perkins Cove Halloween Fun at OgunquitFest!
Saturday, October 25th kicks off with the Halloween Parade at 10am starting outside Oarweed Restaurant, followed by Trick-or-Treating at Perkins Cove businesses and rock painting for kids across the Perkins Cove Bridge from 10:30am–12pm. Enjoy live music by Beau Dalleo from 11:30am–1:30pm while you explore the festive atmosphere.
Sunday, October 26th brings the excitement of the Frannie Peabody High Heel Dash at 3pm — a fun, crowd-favorite event that’s sure to entertain!

Discover Ogunquit’s Trails & Find a Hidden Treasure! All weekend long!
Take a fall adventure on the Great Works Regional Land Trust trails at Beach Plum Farm, Payeur Preserve, and Old Boston Preserve. Hidden along the paths are 39 exclusive, hand-blown glass beach plums—a tribute to the Land Trust’s 39 years of conservation work in Southern Maine.
If you discover a glass beach plum, register your find to be entered into a grand prize drawing for gift cards and prizes valued at over $250 (ages 21+ to qualify).
Share the experience! Please keep only one glass plum per participant so others can join in the fun.
The trails open daily at 8 AM and close at dusk. Whether you find a treasure or simply enjoy the walk, this is the perfect way to connect with nature during OgunquitFest weekend.


Calling all creatives! Enter your pumpkin creations in this years OgunquitFest pumpkin decorating contest sponsored by Team Wunder at RE/MAX Realty One.
Carve, paint, or decorate your pumpkin and deliver it to 84 School St. on or before October 24th at 4pm. Entry forms are available at the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center and the RE/MAX Realty One Office
Then come on down and help be apart of the public vote to decide the favorite pumpkins! Prizes will be awarded for Best Individual Entry, Best Business Entry, and Best Over-All Entry. Think you have what it takes?
